Perhaps Wunderground set their servers to TLS only while the WX station only supports SSL? It just keeps trying to renegotiate the connection over and over again. From what I can tell it's trying send the data, but it still shows offline.ĮDIT: Digging deeper, it appears as if there’s some sort of issue with HTTPS. My weather station has been offline for ages. I turned on hotspot on my computer and connected the WX station to it and sniff the packets in Wireshark. I've reset it, removed and readded it to Wunderground is nothing is working. It was working fine for months and now it's appearing offline on Wunderground. AcuRite support said a small number of users using WiFi were having issues connecting to Wunderground. UPDATE: It started working again yesterday. ![]() They are sending me a new display since the 06086 AcuRite Wi-Fi display will no longer be compatible with Wundergrounds new protocol updates. Update 2! AcuRite just reached out on the 15th of Sept. My station is an Acurite 5 in 1 wifi and it went offline at about the same time frame.
